JRC employed a primarily qualitative approach, complementing GOAL's existing quantitative data with community-level insight, beneficiary experience, and partner performance assessments. Each monthly cycle targeted roughly 12 on-site verifications, 30 key informant interviews, 10 in-depth interviews, 10 focus group discussions, and 2 human impact stories across Aleppo and Idlib, with findings triangulated against GOAL's internal data. Beyond verification, the work captured the human impact of THRIVE's assistance — producing stories that illustrated both positive outcomes and areas needing corrective action by implementing partners.
